Catholic Relief Services Zimbabwe program is inviting applications for the following position for an anticipated Lean Season Assistance program. The positions are contingent on funding.
The District/Field Coordinator will play a pivotal role in advancing CRS/Zimbabwe’s objective to improve food and nutrition security in Matabeleland South province where incessant rains in 2017 compromised the food security of vulnerable communities. Fundamentally, the primary role of the District/Field Coordinator is to coordinate, manage, and develop strong and sustainable relationships with local government stakeholders to facilitate the smooth implementation of the lean Season Assistance activities in the assigned district. The activities include cash based transfers, complementary livelihood activities, markets monitoring and others to be confirmed.
Experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Sciences or related field, Experience in emergency and humanitarian programs and/or food security, Coordinating Cash Based transfer modality. Minimum of 4 years previous NGO experience within relief or development programs in at least one of the following sectors: agriculture, food security, HIV/AIDS, or disaster management. A clean class four driver license and Fluency in English and Ndebele.
