Davido pulls out of Jah Prayzer’s Album Launch
The 2 Kings Entertainment spokesperson, DJ Dee Nosh, announced on Facebook this morning that Davido will no longer be flying into the country for his highly anticipated show that was scheduled for this evening.

The statement is as follows:
We are disappointed to announce to you masoja that Davido will no longer be performing at the Kutonga Kwaro Album Launch tomorrow as promised due to reasons and circumstances beyond our or his control. Davido and his team have assured us and Zimbabweans at large that he will issue an official statement as soon as possible and also announcing a new date for a “My Lilly” concert.
On my behalf and on behalf of my team, Davido and his team I would like to apologize to all masoja and Zimbabweans for this inconvenience.
The good news masoja and fellow Zimbabweans is that this concert was about the album launch, Kutonga Kwaro and the concert will go on.
And the better news is that Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi and The Gafa, Winky D, will be performing live at our Album Launch, Kutonga Kwaro. We assure you that this will be an evening to remember and you are going to see the best performance Zimbabwe has ever seen. We are also pleased to tell you that our sponsors and all our supporting acts, are fully behind us and ready to entertain you.
We know will see you there tomorrow and this will be a huge success.
However, it is not all doom and gloom as the team has organised some sort of compensation for the fans. DJ Dee Nosh stated on social media that, …if you bought a $20 ordinary ticket, you can now bring a Plus one or get coupons worth $10 for drinks or snacks, meaning a regular ticket is now $10. If you had bought a ticket just for Davido, hold on to your ticket, a compensatory gig featuring the Nigerian star is being organized for later…’
