Brow shaping with hot wax
Written by Sam Kay
It goes without saying that perfect brows are among the biggest things happening
in beauty right now. But even the most beautiful, perfect brows need occasional
maintenance. And when it comes to choosing a service technique—threading,
tweezing, or waxing—things can get a little bit tricky. (Or, depending on your prior
salon experiences, downright scary!!!)
We give you the 101 on brow waxing
WAXING
The Pros: The benefits of waxing are that it’s quick and the finish gives sharp,
clean lines which make brows look very defined!. If you have fluffy brows it’s a
great option to get blanket coverage and likewise, if your hairs are coarse waxing
can be a less painful choice than having each individual hair threading. if you have
thicker, coarser hair that grows back quickly, waxing is the
best option for shaping. It also encourages thinner, softer
regrowth.
The Cons: The most common—and obvious—complaint about
waxing is the temporary red halo it can create around the
treated area after the service. But that soon goes away! So
unless you are allergic to any ingredients in the wax, it has
more pros than cons!
