Adendork Trek was an early European traveller and settler in Zimbabwe.
Trek claimed to have obtained a concession from Chief Chivi who at the time controlled the southern part of Fort Victoria.
His intention and wish was to set up a Boer Republic and the British South Africa Company at the time very much involved with the occupation of the territory told Trek that he would be welcome if he accepted the rule of the British South Africa Company.
On 24th June 1891 a body of armed Afrikaners attempted to cross the Limpopo river. They were turned back by a force of the British South Africa Company police.
Some of the members of the trek later settled in Mashonaland.
