Zimbabwean professional boxer.
Background:
Charles Manyuchi is a Zimbabwean professional boxer who is the WBC, international welterweight champion since March 2014. In November 2014, he successfully defended his WBC crown in a Lusaka, Zambia fight against an opponent from Colombia. In 2014 he was awarded the Zimbabwe’s Sportsperson of the year accolade. In July 2015 against an Italian boxer in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, he defended his crown successfully.
On the 14th of October fought for the first time in front of his home crowd in a non-title fight at the HICC in which he defeated Colombian opponent Jose Agustin Julio Feria in a fight that lasted less than three minutes.
