Pioneer
Uvon Fry was an agent of Cecil J Rhodes. He was born in South Africa in 1864. In 1887 he visited Lobengula in Bulawayo to negotiate for concessions on behalf Rhodes.
He was later superseded by C.D Rudd who eventually attained what would be the Rudd Concession.
In 1890 he joined the Pioneer Column and served in the Matabele War of (1893).
