Do You Realise You Are Your Greatest Asset?

Ponder over this question for a moment before reading further.
You see, how your life turns out depends on how you conduct yourself. It depends on how you choose to use your time and mental faculties. A lot of people do not seem to be aware of this and it shows in the way they live their lives. The questions below can help you take stock of how you value yourself and your time.
1. How much time do you spend working on you?
2. How much time do you spend EVERYDAY working on your dream?
3. In the last 90 days, how many books have you read? What kind of books, if any, are they?
4. In the last year, what new skill or knowledge have you acquired? What kind of investment have you made in you?
5. In a month, how much time, on average, do you spend being entertained? (watching tv, going out etc)
6. Would you say you use your time effectively?
Invest in yourself
You have to invest in yourself so that you can be the best you can be. You have to spend the bulk of your time improving yourself, rather than getting entertained. Remember, all the successful people just have the same amount of time each day as you do, and they choose to use it effectively. So how can you invest in yourself?
You can choose to read more self-improvement books and autobiographies of successful people rather than fictional novels. Remember, what you will learn from self-help books will benefit you more than the mere entertainment you will get from fictional books.
You can also decide to learn a new skill over the weekend rather than spending the whole day watching movies. Today, there is a lot of free information on almost every topic on the internet. Why not take advantage of this and improve yourself?
We hope this blog will challenge you to examine how you spend your time. Remember, the poor spend the bulk of their time consuming and getting entertained while the rich spend the bulk of their time improving themselves and looking for ways to improve their income. The result is that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
As a parting shot, we ask the question again, do you realise you are your greatest asset?
